What is Telehealth?

Telehealth involves healthcare provision through telecommunications technology, allowing remote consultations, diagnosis, and treatment. Benefits include convenience for those with limited mobility, remote locations, or inflexible schedules, using apps, patient portals, and video conferencing. However, potential drawbacks include gaps in care, misuse of pharmaceuticals, and limited insurance coverage.
